Chile and Haiti

Here, we have a great opportunity to learn. We have Haiti on the one hand and we have Chile. Chile has worked its way out of poverty. Study everything it has done right. Haiti is still poor. Very, very poor. Study everything Haiti has done and DO NOT DO AS THEY HAVE DONE. It is that simple. Be honest. Use your imagination. Stay healthy. Get educated. Use your talent for something positive. Work very hard. Save money. Develop good relationships with your neighbors. Fight crime. Be constructive. Okay, you can go now. So can this topless woman. I think she was going to leave anyway.

Global Freeze

From Yahoo News: “BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama was colder than Alaska, water fountains froze into ice sculptures in South Carolina and Florida shivered through a brush of Arctic air blast that deadened car batteries in the Northeast and prompted scattered Midwest power outages. As Southerners awaited an expected weekend thaw, the Northeast persisted under the bitterly cold air from Canada that sent temperatures plunging in some places below minus 30 degrees and left even longtime residents reluctant to venture outdoors.” So, what happened to global warming? We should be melting. Bring it on!!!! PLEASE.

Hurricane IKE

I have never experienced a hurricane or a tornado or a volcano eruption - only a small flood, two minor earthquakes, and one giant snowstorm. Nature, when it gets violent, has a way of scaring people. The energy unleashed is really of a huge magnitude. Just get out of the way if you can. It's for your own good. There's a difference between being brave and being foolhardy. I have a funny feeling Houston is about to be destroyed, though I hope not. Good luck.
