I AM NOT a financial planner, or financial consultant, or registered commodities trader, or licensed stock broker, or anything of the kind. I can tell you though, that buying low and selling high always works in your favor. I read that BWMG is going to Dubai. The stock is still selling at .0005. If you buy 2,000,000 shares, it will set you back $1,000 plus whatever you pay in commissions. If you wait until the stock goes into real money, you will never be able to afford those shares. Even at ONE CENT, you will need $20,000 to purchase 2,000,000 shares. Do I heed my own advice? You bet. Good luck to you.

Dubai
Today, the tallest building in the world (Burj Kahlifa) will experience a grand opening. It is in Dubai, a country or business conglomerate among the arab emirates which is heavily in debt. They say the building is twice the height of the Empire State Building and 50 stories higher than the Sears Tower. I have been to the top of the Empire State Building and that seems pretty high to me. I can only imagine how high this new building is. The architects say that it is very likely that this building will remain the world's tallest for the next ten years. It just might remain so for the next fifty years. Bill Baker was the structural engineer for this baby. We'll know who to blame if it falls over in a high wind. This topless woman is afraid of heights so it is also unlikely she will travel to Dubai for the grand opening. Saturday, November 28, 2009
Rich but poor
It came out suddenly that one of the richest countries in the world, Dubai, is having money troubles. Everyone has read from time to time that very ambitious and expensive projects have been underway in Dubai for many years. That country is like an exclusive club but on a global level. The news reported that Dubai might default on its debt of approximately 60 billion (it's probably much more.) That sent negative ripples through world money markets. hehehe Remember to live within your means - even very rich people go broke. This topless woman looks like all she has left is her necklace.

Finance for adults
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - remember those names. Their collective name is now mud since a rumor began to spread earlier today about Federal regulators taking them over. That move will cost common shareholders and you and me dearly. Maybe not me. Maybe my kids. If the rumors are true, the Federal budget will have to support billions of dollars in bad loans which have up to now been backed by the two giant semi-public entities. This is what happens when one is careless with someone else's money. What are the choices? There aren't any. A collapse of either or both of these giant underwriters would cause panic and start an unstoppable cascade of shareholders bailing out - like a run on a bank. Credit would get super tight. If money is not kept moving, the entire economy will grind to a halt. Perhaps we're hanging by a thread but don't yet know it. I wonder if the Chinese were wanting to cash in their chips? Or the rich Arabian sheiks? The Federal action, otherwise, appears premature. Good luck to us all.
